Getting Started Attendance Clocking Logbook Emergency Offline & Account

Getting Started

5 questions

01What do I need to log in for the first time?

You need the 6-character installation code from your supervisor, and access to the email where a 6-digit verification code will be sent.

02Where does the installation code come from?

The admin gets it from the web portal under Deployment → ⋮ → View contract. The code is listed next to the site.

03I didn't receive the verification code. What should I do?

Wait for the "Resend available in…" timer to finish, then request a new code.

04Why does the app show "Setting up your site" after login?

The app is downloading the site configuration and files so it can work offline. This happens only once — do not close the app until it finishes.

05What is "Usage Access" and why is it needed?

It lets the app report the device's activity status to the operations team, confirming the phone stays active during a shift. Enable it at Settings → Usage Access → TH Patrol and turn on Permit usage access.

Face Enrollment & Attendance

4 questions

06Do I need to register my face before checking in?

Yes. Go to Settings → Face Enrollment, select your name, confirm, and centre your face in the circle. Attendance cannot recognise you until this is done.

07What if the app recognises the wrong person?

Tap Not you? Rescan to capture your face again.

08Do I need to give a reason when checking in or out?

Check-in: optional. Check-out: required — choose Sick, Emergency, Personal, Check-up, Shift change or Others.

09Can a colleague check in or clock in for me?

No. Attendance uses face recognition, and clocking cannot be done on another person's behalf.

Clocking & Checkpoints

4 questions

10How do I record a checkpoint?

Scan the checkpoint's NFC tag or QR code. It is marked as completed once scanned.

11Can I end a round before scanning all checkpoints?

Yes. Tap End Clocking and confirm. The round will be recorded as incomplete.

12What if the session time runs out?

The round is automatically marked Clocking incomplete, and this is reflected in the site's records.

13How do I link an NFC tag to a checkpoint?

Go to Settings → Checkpoint list, select the checkpoint, tap Set NFC chip, and hold the tag against the back of the phone. When successful, it shows "NFC bound".

Logbook (Incident Reports)

2 questions

14Is a photo required?

Yes. At least one photo is required, and a maximum of four is allowed per report.

15Can I submit a report without internet?

Yes. The report is queued and uploads automatically once you are back online.

Emergency

1 question

16When should I use Panic SOS?

Only in genuine danger or a serious emergency. It alerts the control room immediately for an urgent response.

Offline & Account

2 questions

17Does the app work without internet?

Yes. Records made offline are stored and uploaded later. View them under Settings → Pending Sync.

18Should I log out at the end of my shift?

No. Logging out removes the device's connection to the site, and a new access code is needed to sign back in. Only log out when your supervisor tells you to.

Still need help?Contact your supervisor or the control room using the Call button in the app.
